2/25/2016

Originally recorded in 1964/65 by Alpha past student and trombonist Don Drummond, the song is still played and loved at the school today. Listen to Drummond's Studio One release below and a clip from rehearsal last week when Alpha students were preparing for an upcoming recording session at Tuff Gong. The band is led by Andres Lopez, an Alpha music teacher as well as a noted keyboardist/producer (I-Pez Productions).  The featured student trombonist is Jordan Moncrieffe. Stay tuned for the full video.
