Raymond Harper was the senior trumpeter in the Alpha band while Bobby Ellis was his junior. Once out of school, Prince Buster was one of Harper's most loyal supporters including "African Blood". Harper was not the most visible musician in the 50s and 60s but definitely among the most respected.
