This time of year is when staying cool is not just a vibe but also a daily mission. One of the coolest and most flavourful is to find a cold, fresh citrus beverage. Lemonade is most prevalent but for those looking to go out on a liquid limb the Limeade served by The Wine Shop in Southdale Plaza will put cold stop to any competitor! Fresh limes x fresh mint x water and some sugar. Simply refreshing!

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of Constant Spring Road Traffic the Wine Ship stands in semi isolation. Tucked into the corner of Southdale Plaza right off South Avenue near the Halfway Tree landmark, the Wine Shop has maintained its culinary and social oasis since 2013. Open 6 days (closed Sundays) for lunch, evening drinks, dinner or entertainment, the indoor/outdoor space offers an eclectic and unpredictable backdrop to an otherwise familiar area of the city. It's wide ranging menu offers ample vegetarian options. A regular venue for outdoor cooking/dining/music events (Jazz In The Street, All You Can Eat Pasta Saturdays) show an engaging appreciation for being ahead of the culinary-entertainment curve.
