The Vocational Training Centre's comprehensive programme focuses on individual needs and practical solutions through a targeted mix of academic, vocational and social services. Guided by 140+ years of service, Alpha’s culture of caring and committed support means young people and their families have a reliable partner for personal and professional development.
Academic development is the foundation of training and all students have the opportunity to sit for City & Guild exams. Vocational training is where Alpha students apply their improved math and English abilities. Students may select vocational training in barbering, carpentry, screen printing or music performance. Access to job expos, work experience, internships and career workshops are key elements of the Alpha experience.
