In August, Jamaica experiences warm temperatures and high humidity, characteristic of our peak summer and wet season. Daytime highs typically reach around 32-35°C (90-95°F), with coastal areas feeling slightly cooler due to sea breezes. Nighttime temperatures usually stay between 22-25°C (72-77°F), providing for warm, comfortable evenings​.​​​​​

Rainfall is frequent. On average, it will rain every other day in August -mostly in the afternoon. Morning and early evening often remain dry though and are generally the best time for outdoor activities. And even if it is a rainy day, we are still likely to get at least 8 hours of sunshine every day!
